Tinashe Muyambo joined Masawara as the Group CEO of the Financial Services cluster from 1 February 2023. He brings with him over 20 years’ experience in Executive Corporate Management and Actuarial Consulting across Africa, Australasia, and Europe. Most recently, as the Chief Commercial Officer at Prudential Africa, Tinashe’s responsibilities included constructing and executing strategy to transform the businesses across the African continent. At Leadway Assurance Company Limited, Tinashe headed the Life Assurance business, as well as held a number of board positions. In addition to value creation within the Leadway Life Assurance businesses he drove the development of the Health businesses of Leadway across the West African region. Tinashe also previously held the position of Head of Africa Consulting, and various other actuarial consulting roles whilst working at Willis Towers Watson across UK and Australia. Tinashe is a member of the Institute of Actuaries Australia, has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Actuarial Science from the University of Melbourne. Tinashe was awarded the top tier Chairman’s Award at WTW in 2014 and invited to Prudential PLC’sTransformational Leadership Programme in 2022. In his spare time, Tinashe enjoys reading, listening to music, cross-fit, and surfing.
