Mr Getley was appointed as a Director of Masawara in December 2015 and became Chairman in 2016. He has extensive knowledge of the investment industry and spent sixteen years as an established institutional investment manager specialising in African equities. Christopher was a Director at Deutsche Asset Management and a Partner at Cazenove. Subsequently he was CEO of Westhouse, a London based investment bank. In 2015 he arranged the buyout of AgPlus Diagnostics from the UK’s National Physical Laboratory, ensuring changes in strategy and and resources in order to commercialise the platform technology. In addition to his role at Masawara Christopher is Executive Chairman of AgPlus Diagnostics Limited and Non-Executive Chairman of Majedie Investments PLC, a London listed investment company.
