Rudo is a registered legal practitioner and commercial lawyer with over a decade of experience. She joined Masawara in March 2023 as the Group Legal Advisor and became the head of the Masawara Legal Department effective from 1 May 2024. Before her tenure at Masawara, she gained valuable experience in corporate advisory and transactional work at two top Chambers Global-ranked law firms. As a seasoned transactional lawyer, Rudo has a strong track record in handling M&As, corporate structuring, financing, mining and energy transactions.

Rudo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an Honours degree in Economics (with distinction) both earned from Rhodes University. She also graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Pretoria. Her professional interests include Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), insurance, and energy law, areas in which she continues to expand her expertise.
